Timeline: Wizarding War 1997 After the murder of Albus Dumbledore on the astronomy tower occurs, Hogwarts is thrown into chaos. Harry chases after Professor Snape and his party, and Hermione follows, determined to stand by her best friend. Death's Gift
After the war, Harry distances himself from everyone, feeling empty. He spends a year having locked himself up in Grimmuald Place, consumed with guilt. When he's finally drawn from his Godfather's, now his, home by the Weasleys, Hermione appears at his front door with urgent and unsettling news. Harry realizes the hidden horrors of his years at Hogwarts and, together, Harry and his friends formulate a plan to level the playing field. Though, when it inevitably all goes sideways, Death reveals himself to Harry and offers him a once in a lifetime opportunity. Will he take it? -- WARNINGS: 1.
