Lee Jangmi only wished for one thing in her life. To be as successful as her grandmother once was. Since she was young she aspired to be the great Idol like her halmeoni in the stories her grandpa told her. However, with strict, disapproving parents like her's it's hard for Jangmi to embrace her true wants.
Park Nauen had been living in Seoul on her own for a while. Her dreams of once writing music were crushed 2 years ago when she auditioned for a singing competition and didn't pass the first round. With little hope of ever fulfilling her dream she works as a waitress in order to make ends meat.

Kim Soo Yun, always had a difficult school life. Being the smartest girl did not help her in terms of friends. She was always mocked even in grade school.
