Amelia Kinsley Stone was your average twenty year old. She was sweet, kind, funny and smart. She had a heart of gold and helped anyone in anyway that she could. Even if there was no way she could help, she'd try to anyway. She never let anyone run over her, and she almost always snapped back. But the good always shone out of her. There was always a downside to being so soft hearted. The downside of her being so sweet was what ran her- literally- into Xander's arms.

Xander Flynn Lemington was dangerous. He was dark, scary. He was the guy who made everyone fear him, who intimidated them. That was until he met Amelia. She got under his skin and he didn't know why. Something about her aggravated him, but attracted him at the same time. Maybe it was because she was so caring. Maybe it was because he couldn't intimidate her. The world would never know.

He knew having Amelia around was dangerous, that her life could be at risk if seen with him. He had enemies who were almost as powerful as he was. But he couldn't stay away. He always made some type of excuse to have her around.
