The Anomaly Spiral (work in progress)

Anomalies have begun to appear all over the world. Things no one had ever seen before, it started slowly but as more of them started to appear and more people started dying. Soon entire cities started falling.

In a final attempt to fight these monsters and keep what was left of us safe, the remaining leaders of the world created the Departments. One in each remaining city, which housed various squads using what weapons remained and materials extracted from anomalous objects, humanity finally began pushing back and defending their homes.

There are five cities left... each led by a voted President dedicated to restoring what was lost.
