The Blood Trials are held every two years. Vampire nobility and royalty from all lands meet to compete through chosen humans. Sometimes ,these humans go by choice. Money, fame, acknowledgement. Other times, not so much. Slaves in debt and stolen children. For Keiya, it's a bit of a mix.
The royal family killed her own and left her with her sister, Maiya. Now they've killed her as well, leaving Keiya with no one but a cruel King.
