This story takes place on Earth in the 2040's. Is based on fiction and apocalyptic genre. The protagonist was the last environmentalist and his services were requested by the government. Rebecca, his lover, traveled in time for multiple occasions trying to find a solution to save humankind and the planet from severe contamination. Once, she saw his lover dying in the future for rejecting a direct order from the government. Rebecca Alingston decides to forcefully transform Dillon into a super robot which will be known as H.O.P.E. As part of her plan, Hope will save humankind and Earth, then later in the future will save her. After the transformation Hope turns out to have a partial amnesia and doesn't remember about his past person. Now he will try to find out who he is and why is he programmed to save humanity. The Betrayer and the Betrayed
In the not-so-distant future evolved humans emerged. Those who had powers that broke conventional laws of physics, chemistry, and biology were dubbed E.H.s (evolved humans); it was wondrous for a time. Of course if there was power to be used there would be those who misuse. To that end the evolved humans police department was formed to deal with all crime committed by or connected to E.H.s, a force entirely comprised of E.H.s trained to stop and capture any E.H. breaking the law. Adlet Blacksteel is the newest edition to the E.H.P.D., his skills and experience as a hostage extractor makes him an invaluable edition. Joined by his new partner, Jenna Jones, he pursues a secretive manhunt for the Soldiers Of The New World, an underground E.H. crime organization that has a hand in all that is illegal, and their mysterious leader: String, who, seemingly, has eyes and ears everywhere. While Adlet and Jenna intend on doing this by the books, their unsavory past with two of String's captains may muddy their judgement, or, more accurately, it already has. As String's ambitions grow beyond just controlling the city's underbelly Adlet and Jenna are forced to take action with an ally he did not desire. While prejudice against E.H.s reaches it's peak because of a horrific tragedy, the Soldiers of the New World waste no time to expand their reach and rally for their cause of taking over the city. Adlet goes to the edge of sacrificing everything and back again. On the way, betrayal awaits at every corner. But with every step she takes, she finds the organization, or the facility, as they call it, becoming more and more suspicious. When a mysterious death occurs, revealing a well-concealed secret, things quickly go downhill as humanity's future is placed on the shoulders of a single gaggle of teenagers. *** I hear a sigh from the other side of the door, "Miss. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on.
