Kylee Merandus has grown up in a world where the human race has evolved to have super natural abilities, and the world is divided by silvers and reds. She's a silver. Her own is being able to control and manipulate others and there thoughts.

She is now in high school with her nemesis, who she has so called "hated" for as long as she has known him. His name is Nash. Nash Calore.

Nash's ability is the manipulation of fire. He is a burner, well thats what the rest of silvers call him. Being a burner just means that you have one of the most powerful abilities of all. Nash's family has roots all the way back to Maven, Tiberius, and Cal Calore, aka royalty that had ruled for hundreds of years.

But every 100 years since the fall of the Calore's kingdom, silvers got another way to use there ability, nobody knows why, but it just happens. And Kylee and Nash's highschool years happens to be the year of this new manipulation, and the years they start training for the army, in favor of there government that has control over the world, well, over reds.

Kylee has woke up every morning dreaming about him sinse the begining of the "school year". What will Kylee and Nash figure out about her heritage, what people have forgotten about the past of there world, and why her last name is Merandus?

Will there friends stay loyal, or betray them along the way?
