This is a story a started making about two years ago. The plot is still developing so this is only the beginning... But I can't seem to let this story go so I will definitely add onto it as soon as I can... **Character names are all subject to change**

Kadence Marsh is a 16 year old who is just trying to help her mother. With her dad gone, there is a lot of responsibility on her shoulders, especially having to care for her little sister. For years, the Marsh's get along well with life. One day, however, something happens to Kadence's mother. Something happens that changes Kadence's life forever.

I hope you guys enjoy what I have of this story so far! I can't wait to add on to it some more. There is some juicy stuff in my head that will make its way into the story eventually, but for now you will have to live with what is posted. I would love to hear feedback from you guys. Whether its grammatical errors, plot ideas, or things to think about to develop the story more, I would love to hear it! Always thankful for the support!

He was abusive to her, but she never had anywhere to go and Saya felt bad for him. His wife had died the year before, so he didn't think he had a purpose in life. The neighbors knew what he was doing, but didn't have the proof to bring it to the police. Saya heard of a tiquando class nearby, and wanted to learn to protect herself, so she snuck in every day and practiced from a safe distance. One day, two kids found her and they later became friends, their names were Lin and Jaune. When Saya was eleven, her uncle was murdered, and the police arrested her, since she was the only one living there. Later, Lin and Jaune were arrested trying to break her out. They've been there ever since. Hey guys! So I know this is a long description, but that is just a little background information on the main character in this book. This is one of my first stories so please forgive me for whatever my seem stupid.
