Being the third child of a divorced mother, the shadows of an absent father always faltering their family's plans, he never had any time for himself. Kept awake at night by studying was expected - especially in a world that was so heavily competitive that it put whispers of suicide into everyone's ear if they weren't good enough.

In his mansion of a house, his absent family members never touching the front step except if they'd left something behind, Noiz was nearly the sole occupant; but he knew that one day, he'd leave this house and never see anyone ever again.

That is, he had believed that before Naomi Tsukino slammed her way into his life.

Having been born into a dangerous environment of either starving or stealing, Naomi was raised on the streets and earned herself the attitude for it as well. In a twist of what may have been fate, she burst into Noiz's life without reason and took the role of his best and only friend, striving to stay by his side even when he didn't want it for reasons unknown.

But when things get complicated and Naomi is becoming way too stress free of their new surroundings, Noiz begins to question who she really is and whether or not she's even trustworthy at all.

It's a testament to his sanity in this new world so unlike his usual expectations, and it'll only get harder once the bodies start dropping.

How far are they willing to go before the death of their comrades haunt them?

Till one of them is betrayed?

Or, till one locks up the other in an impenetrable box?
