War Child

In 20th century China, the country is at war.
The things that were once taken for granted are suddenly much harder to find.

You see, when I see red, I remember.
I remember the past. The things I cherished and loved and those I am unable to forget.

This is a one page submission to a short-story contest. The condition I was working with was that it had to focus on a colour, and be within one Wattpad Page.

Sorry for being so late, but I was really picky with this one. (And I am still VERY unhappy with it :( )
