It's been weeks since the events from Sonic The Hedgehog (Sonic 06) Happened, Everything was alright for the Albino hedgehog since his life wasn't so exciting. For a whole week a terrible dream has been haunting him. The same black hedgehog staring at him, motionless, he had no mouth and his greenish stripes would pop out from the rest of his body. He would just stand there. staring deeply into the white hedgehog's eyes. 
In his dream... There was no absolution.

He held the book against his chest as if his life depended on it. He had promised, he wouldn't let go of it. His breath was heavy and ragged, the smoke filling his lungs intrusively. Green eyes snapped everywhere, looking desperately for an exit. He jumped when his back met the thick wall behind him, his eyes landing on the awful smoky creature. As he looked up at a roof, he noticed a silhouette, standing there, a giant smoky scythe resting over his shoulder. His crimson red eyes locked onto green emerald ones. "Pathetic." the figure said, making a shiver run up Sonic's spine." The guards fired into the room, panicked, but the blue blur of lighting was relentless and soon no one was left standing.
