All Miguel wants is to be understood by his family, and for them to understand what he's going through. But with his parents spending all their time with his baby sister, Miguel starts to feel like they may be forgetting him. Then, in what seems like a miracle, Miguel has the chance to spend time with Héctor and Imelda. As he continues to be more and more ignored my his living family, Miguel starts to wonder...what's the point of being with the living, if it's the dead who truly love and care for you?


This is  based off the movie with a few changes. In this fanfiction, only Hector gave Miguel his blessing, with the condition to never forget how much his family loves him. Miguel's little sister was also born around three months before Día de los Muertos. This story starts around a week after he helps Coco remember. This is my first story on Wattpad, or anywhere else for that matter, so I appreciate constructive criticism:) I don't own Coco, or any of its characters, I'm just borrowing them:)All Rights Reserved

Now the Madrigals are even more busy with all the people they need to serve. But Mirabel is still reminded that she is the only Madrigal without a gift. This deeply hurts her, but her family doesn't notice since they are all to busy. Soon , some of the family members forget what happened between her and them and they begin to treat her like they did before the film, like she was a baby. They have even forgotten everything she has done for them, the only thing they do recall is her bring the magic back. But they don't give her enough credit. The only one who notices the pain Mirabel is in is Casita. Casita is saddened and angry that everyone in the family is ignoring Mirabel, so Casita uses a special magic from the miracle to show the entire family the movie, along with a heartbreaking secret from Mirabel's past. The Madrigal's Casita will give them a proper perspective. I hope... I don't own any of the characters or songs in the story, I only own the idea of the story.
