Derek Fluch and His Family of Misfits

Derek Fluch (pronounce it like 'flu') is a 16 year old from Berlin,Germany who meets Haruhi a few weeks before they start school at Ouran and becomes best friends with her. He lives with his sister and a little boy and girl in a flat (apartment) close to Haruhi's apartment building. Who is he really? What about his sister? And who are those children?
