One hundred fifty years ago, the country of Lunara was flourishing. Its ruler brought it out of times of war and hardship with what is called a blessing. One hundred years later, the rightful ruler is taken out of power and killed. The new self proclaimed Lord of Lunara turned a beautiful gem of a country, into a withering corrupt nightmare where citizens are afraid to speak their mind, in fear of imprisonment, banishment, or death. Eighteen year old Cypress Everheart has challenged everything the Lord stood for since she was a child. Her will and opposition has pushed her forward, but the Royal Guard and Lord of Lunara are determined to throw her back into her place, or further below... Below ground that is.
