Ireth is a young Elf who lives in a small clearing in the middle of a forest. Well lived. A party of attackers kidnapped her sister, Milueil and while her brother was off looking after that, her family's cottage burnt down, leaving Ireth by herself with no one to go to for help. Her Ada's last instruction echoed in her head. "Go to Rivendell. You will learn the truth there."

Causing far too much trouble for Elrond in Rivendell the young elven princess of the North is moved to Mirkwood in order to be taught how to behave and leave her warrior ways behind.
