Leah Clearwater and Danny Black have always been best friends. They grew up together on the Quileute Reservation in La Push, Washington and their mothers were best friends just like them. When Sarah, Danny's mother was killed in a car crash when they were younger, Leah was there for her as best she could have, being fourteen at the time. So, when Harry Clearwater, Leah's father passes away from a heart attack, Danny wants to help Leah just like Leah did for her all those years ago but instead is thrown into a crazy world of shapeshifters, vampires and soulmates when Leah imprints on her.
