The Lost Moon Child

"They didn't tell you, did they?" he asks, looking at her with a sad longing in his eyes. The memories flood his mind and his eyes begin to tear up.

"Who you are," he says, his shiny eyes cast down on the ground, "what you are."

Celine Brooks is just another girl in high school. She has a seemingly normal life, with a single mom who loves her and two best friends who would do anything for her. Nearing her eighteenth birthday, however, Celine begins to have dreams more real than she's ever had in her life. Dreams so vivid she cannot tell the difference between what is real and what is not. And in those dreams, one thing is always constant: her death.

Unexpectedly, she crosses paths with two strangers. One man so kind and gentle, the other stern and harsh. Each of them claim that they wish to protect her, and that the other is attempting to harm her. In search for answers and unsure who to trust, she is whisked away in time where she begins to piece together the puzzle she so desperately wants to solve: herself. As a war breaks out and she is torn to both sides, her dreams reveal the face of a man to her. The man who holds all the answers. The man whose hands are stained in her blood.
