Three years ago on what was supposed to be fun week-long school trip ended up being Cerys' worst nightmare. Cerys was captured by an unknown group of bloodsucking being who forever change Cerys' outlook on life by taking her to the realm where fairytales were real. For months Cerys was mentally and physically tortured, then underwent a change that nobody expected, she was the only one to survive it. Using patience and mental strength Cerys waited until she got the chance of a lifetime to escape. Deciding what she knew was best left dead Cerys bound her own powers and erased her own memories in order to give herself some sort of normalcy.
Cerys has now returned to her hometown, Winchester Cove, the place she swore she never to return to begin University. After being back for less than a day and everything is turning upside down all over again. All over town bodies are turning up, loved ones are going missing, and people are being attacked in the dead of night. Torn between fighting her memories or fleeing altogether Cerys must rely on the needs of her friends in order to solve the recurring horrors of Winchester Cove. Can having the weight of life and death shared amongst friends give Cerys the strength to get the job done?
