"Step away from me." I yelled at the now pale Jake across from me.
"Rose." He whispered.
"No Jake I'm not going to let you see me fall apart like this."
"I don't care Rose, I need to know the truth so I can help you."
No, he can never know the truth. But I ended up telling him anyways. After all of the months he's spent with me, he deserves to know. 


Rose Garner seems like a regular high school girl to everyone else, but in reality she's not. Rose suffers nightmares replaying her past, causing Rose to have the idea to never sleep again so she doesn't have to reopen old scars. She is a very determined person, she is so determined to never let anyone in, in fear that she might break and collapse in front of them. But what happens when Jake Sheer, a former English classmate that Rose has never noticed before, try to make rose let him in?
