Clap of Thunder

Adelheid is a disgraced pirate, the used-to-be first mate of the greatest pirate captain in history. After he was hanged, she took up with another crew, where she became accountant to Captain Isabelle "Izzy" Helton and quartermaster Norton Priss. They seek merfolk, dangerous creatures that have a nose for expensive things, to lead them through the Black Abyss Tunnels to the lost treasure of a sunken Eslonian merchant ship.
