And after so long he has returned, returned home.
And I hate that he breaks wall after wall, and my heart comes back to life with each step he takes closer.
And those sweet moments between us makes my heart tremble and scared, reminding me of a better time, making me go through the pain all over again. But after eight long years, people change, so has he, but so have I.

He shakes his head and lets out a deep chuckle, making my body hum to life, like it had been sleeping as long as he was gone, looking up to the house with a smirk on his face he whispers, "Home Sweet Home."
Then he snaps his neck toward me, with that smirk still there and asks, "Miss me, Sweetheart?"
Somewhere in my chest, my once dead and decaying heart stirs, and I reply with a cold and stony glare, "Miss my fist, old man?"
Looking at his shocked expression, a smudge smirk of my own graces my lips and I turn on my heel and walk into the house, not even giving him a backwards glance.
