"If you think about it, writing is the act of conversing with yourself. Personally, one of my favorite techniques for expressing myself is writing, and recently I had a reawakening to write and express myself. I had a desire to voice what brewed inside of my mind. I ask the reader to bear with me as I have not written in this context before. If I needed something to compare this to, this is my act of contrition. We are all looking for a place to vent, and this is my vent, and I'm happy to be sharing it with you." -Excerpt from Introduction to Conversing with Myself (It felt like an appropriate description so...)
This is David, and I hope you enjoy my little strings of words formed to create a series of thoughts and phrases! It's going to be a fun ride and I'm looking forward to keeping the book going. Thanks to the support from Michael (@Michael-N-Young) and Blake (@Cottoncandygod024) while in the creation of these stories. Their help means a lot to me! I've dreamed of the perfect marriage ever since I was a little girl: a marriage complete with a hardworking husband while I tended to the home and our children, preferably four little rugrats to call my own. I dreamed of a life filled with laughter, joy, and success, a life we built together. I dreamed of growing old next to my husband, creating a great love story to tell our grandchildren someday. It all seemed so possible. I was raised to be the perfect wife, after all. From the outside, it seemed I had exactly what I dreamed of with the rich, determined husband; the brilliant, gaudy diamond ring; and the beautiful home filled with the hope of future children. Esme Things can become clear in a second. When I found Tanner in his office with that woman, so many things became obvious. Tanner's always held himself back from me, but now, secrets and lies come tumbling out into the light. He's never loved me and he never will. I'm no longer willing to be a placeholder in his life, and I have to end our marriage. Tanner I'd been married for four years to someone I didn't believe I loved because I thought I still loved another woman. This is a daily updated journal/diary thing that started in January of 2018 and has not ended yet. There will be a part two to this book, because I've found writing in this book so relaxing and helpful when it comes to my mental health. • • • Sometimes I feel trapped. Like I can't tell people how I truly feel because they won't understand. This book is more for me than it is anyone else. I hope you get enjoyment out of it, but honestly, it's an outlet for me to express myself. I'm done keeping my emotions trapped inside myself. I'm truly done with that. If you want to read my emotions and my day to day life, go ahead. If your easily offended by my opinions I would suggest not reading this, because it's practically made for my opinions to be shared. If you hate me, read at your own risk, because this is me being my true self. Some things might not be good to read for those who are struggling with mental illnesses because I do describe my own experience with mental illness and describe horrible thoughts, so it might trigger you.
