"If you think about it, writing is the act of conversing with yourself. Personally, one of my favorite techniques for expressing myself is writing, and recently I had a reawakening to write and express myself. I had a desire to voice what brewed inside of my mind. I ask the reader to bear with me as I have not written in this context before. If I needed something to compare this to, this is my act of contrition. We are all looking for a place to vent, and this is my vent, and I'm happy to be sharing it with you." -Excerpt from Introduction to Conversing with Myself (It felt like an appropriate description so...)
This is David, and I hope you enjoy my little strings of words formed to create a series of thoughts and phrases! It's going to be a fun ride and I'm looking forward to keeping the book going. Thanks to the support from Michael (@Michael-N-Young) and Blake (@Cottoncandygod024) while in the creation of these stories. Their help means a lot to me! Special thanks to my readers and to everyone who's inspired these stories (whether good or bad). This is my place, to be honest, and I'm living for it! So turn the page and start reading!

Dear Diary: But Seriously, What the Fuck?
I don't blog, just needed a place to vent. Who knows, maybe someone will read it and empathize or sympathize with me. All I know is, we're not alone. No matter how different we look on the outside, we all go through the same bloody bullshit. So this is me, getting all therapeutic and trying to survive this life as a person living with multiple chronic illnesses. And it fucking sucks! I've dreamed of the perfect marriage ever since I was a little girl: a marriage complete with a hardworking husband while I tended to the home and our children, preferably four little rugrats to call my own. I dreamed of a life filled with laughter, joy, and success, a life we built together. I dreamed of growing old next to my husband, creating a great love story to tell our grandchildren someday. It all seemed so possible. I was raised to be the perfect wife, after all. From the outside, it seemed I had exactly what I dreamed of with the rich, determined husband; the brilliant, gaudy diamond ring; and the beautiful home filled with the hope of future children. Yes, it was all a dream come true. I should have felt grateful, really. The problem is, I also wanted a marriage based on love, passion, and affection, but those are the only things my husband cannot give me . . . . . . because they're reserved for her.
