Lynn had wasn't special, except for the fact that she could control water. She was just an ordinary girl about to graduate from the special school she went to with her now long time best friends. Nothing too unbelievable ever happened. That was, until she met Alexandra. Alexandra made her hands sweat, heart pound, and her words jumble. They hit it off right away, and it was just perfect.
Except one thing stood in between them and a happy ending. Alexandra couldn't control an element, she was normal. Her people shunned relationships like that so harshly they made a law against it, making their relationship illegal.
When Lynn had to break the news, both of their hearts shattered into a million pieces. Alexandra wouldn't allow what they had to be broken because of some stupid law. Now the two of them and Lynn's best friends are on the run, but they can't run forever. Now they're making every moment last count until their time is up.
