The Last Elemental
In a mystical world, where four kingdoms- Water, fire, air and earth lived in harmony, the fire kingdom conquered an ancient spirit that gave them powers to conquer anything in existence. The fire kingdom, overcome with greed, broke the alliance with the other nations and used the powers to take over all the kingdoms. At last, only the water kingdom remained standing, while the other kingdoms had fallen to the fire kingdom. In a small tribe which was part of the water kingdom, two siblings, the kids of the chief of the tribe, found a boy in the sea while they were searching for food. They later realized that the boy was an elemental and he had the power to master all four abilities- air, water, fire and earth. Together, the boy and the siblings embarked on a journey mastering the four abilities in order to destroy the fire kingdom and stop them from reigning destruction on others.Complete

Bella, Claire, Lauren, Lizzy, Joshua, Luke, Nick, and Braydon were all just normal teenagers until the universe picked them to be the elements. The girls and the boys will fight to the death in the arena and watch every second of it. But the survivors journey doesn't end just yet, someone is trying to have all of the element to herself. After the winner had won the girl and the boy winner go on an adventure to free their friends and the world. Who will live. Who will die. You can't escape the universes power. She found no relief from it, maybe because she had no happy memories to find solace in, nor anyone to find comfort in. And yet, Amber could be the catalyst to setting a series of events that had been prophesied centuries before, into motion, bringing together three more people – the embodiments of the Emblems – to bring magic back to life. But in this underlying world of Adepts, Demons and secrets within secrets, unlocking their potential will be harder than you think. ~^~^~^~^~^ So, this is my 2014 Nanowrimo story, which is basically an attempt to rewrite Phoenix, where it shall go through major changes in plot, characters as well as effects of my new-and-improved writing style. Each human now possesses one of the four elements of nature: fire, water, air, earth - earning the name Elemental. To learn how to control the element, they go through training academies, to among other things find their elemental partner. Here's where we meet Breeze, a Junior-Elemental controlling the element of air, still struggling with putting his right emotions when connecting to the element. Taunted by his older brother Rain, and his Elemental partner Ember, the insecurity within takes control of his element.
