Feathered - A Faerie Tale

Lotte watched as its tattered pages became soaked. Her composure was stilled and strong but her heart felt heavy as she swiftly made her way out of the shop. She was careful not to show any mournful emotion of another book's death. She always did.
But a dark figure beat her to it. She abruptly stopped, unknowing what to do of the stranger holding her book. Although, he simply handed the soggy book to her then left.
Curiously she was quick to look at the man's reflection on the puddle on the ground. Of course the puddle was blurry, but she couldn't help but see a faded glow of white upon his back.

Lotte lives on the other side of the world from her cousin Axtrid. Her best friend. She lives a life constantly monitored and constantly pushed over. She doesn't have enough money to fly over to the states to visit her cousin, she can't speak, she can't even buy a book without so much as the controlling nature of her brother's boss. Its all his fault too - her brother. Not that Lotte would like to admit.

But when Lotte suddenly gets a surprise plane ticket to visit her cousin. She might just find herself in more of a dilemma to unravel through - even bigger than her elder brother's amateur gang.

Axtrid is a hacker. A computer genius - such a waste that her talent was only used for her personal pleases. Although when a white hair icy blue eyed boy comes to her boarding school - Axtrid begins to notice his files are fairly empty. And it comes to a surprise to her when she finds herself dwelling too deep to find more about him. Especially when a whole other world filled with beautiful winged people are involved.
