|| My eyes shot open, heart pounding in my chest as I stood before him, his black fur seemed to reflect the flames in a plasticy like manner, his fur was shiny, he growled his claws made me look like a small bug in comparison, I angered him, I know I had, "I WILL NEVER LOVE YOU" I felt the heavy metal chain heat against my skin searing against my flesh as I cried out in pain, I didn't let it stop me as I stumbled forward my vision blurring as I clutched the paper in my hand, the flames kissed the ceiling leaving the dark black streaks, I opened my arms flinging my weak body into the flames as I glanced to see the devil desperately try to snatch the chain to pull me back but it was too late as it slipped past him, the flames leaked over my body kissing my skin burning into me, I held in my sounds as I my body helplessly slammed onto the ground, the marble like floor heated to the point of being red hot I was going to die here, but I had accepted that fate along time ago. Gloved hands scooped around my body his green eyes were all I saw before the world went dark ||

It was all in the devils casino and for the most part the devil liked it this way. He had control over it all and he got the souls of those who used his drugs, his women and his fake money or even the souls of those who tried to double cross him. He won at every angle. The only thing he could never have set right with him was the annual slave show. A partner of his in all of his doings would pay him to host his black market human trafficking operation and the Devil found this man useful so he allowed it but never attended. He enjoyed a good hopeless soul but the way those poor people looked as they were brought out in chains, naked as the day the were born, some with fear some just done being alive after all they had endured, it just... it wasn't something he wanted to see.
