INKED: Doomed
(The first book in the ink trilogy)

Imagine everywhere in the world is covered with ink: the air you breath, food you eat, the water you drink. Imagine an inky infection spreading on earth, killing people. An infection with no cure. Imagine the ink eating you from inside, like acid burning through you, until you turn to a puddle of ink. Imagine everyone at 16 and above is at risk of getting infected.

It's 2081 and the world as we know it is inked. As a result of the machines made by RICCO CORP, the world becomes polluted with ink. Soon, all its inhabitants will die. There is only one hope: Angela Cassey. Can Ivy reach out to her to save her small village, hidden in a forest in Nigeria, before time runs out?

guys please don't read this anymore lmao i write totally differently now💋 _________________ In a future where humans are genetically modified -- 'altered' -- at the age of sixteen, the world has been, until now, a safe place. Without changing a person's personality, undergoing the Alteration perfects their appearance, IQ, and even their immunity to diseases. No human passes the age of sixteen without being Altered. In the blink of an eye, things change. An ominous message is sent out to all of those below the age of sixteen, providing precise instructions that suggest they flee. Simultaneously, a deadly virus starts to spread all about the world, attacking only the Altered -- every human over the age of sixteen. The virus eats at the modified human brain, and soon the Unaltered begin to realise that the Altered are losing their minds. Home is no longer safe. Friends and family turn on one another, losing control of their own minds and bodies. The Unaltered aren't safe. Even if the virus isn't attacking them, the ones with the virus are. Set on a pristine, futuristic Earth, this is the apocalypse like you've never seen it before. (Rated mature for graphic depictions of violence and mild language.) COMPLETED ✅ FORMALLY KNOWN AS BAD INTENTIONS. Popular. Smart. Pretty. Andrea thinks she has it all figured out; the college she wishes to attend, a planned trip across Europe with her brother and a comfortable life afterwards. Only she doesn't. She didn't see it coming. No one did. No one ever thought that her so called best friend would oppress and violate her in the worst way possible. No one ever suspected that Bryan; star quarterback, charming, popular, every girl's dream man was hiding a little secret. He wasn't well. His parents knew it. No one else did, not even his best friend. Sleepless nights, sweaty palms and raging heartbeats are only a few of what Andrea faces after that unfortunate night Andrea is hoping to never see Bryan again. Bryan is counting down the days he would see Andrea again. All is indeed a mess. She's admitted into a rehabilitation centre where she's monitored, examined and reformed. New friends-and even love- weren't something she bargained for, but it was something she definitely got. All seems well. Or is it? _____________________________________________ Come follow Andrea on her journey to self worth and confidence, as she battles with depression, love, hate, friends and family... You know, "typical teenage life." "A YA novel filled with forbidden love, pain and self discovery and confidence that will surely keep you on your toes." _____________ 2020 Chella Gold. 🥇First Place Winner for Short Story in The Crown Awards 2020. 🥇First Place Winner for Teen Fiction in The Golden Gems Awards 2020. 🥇First Place Winner for YA/Teen Fiction in The Millennial Awards 2020.
