A new indie horror title is sweeping the nation. Several speedruns have been uploaded onto YouTube, but no one knows what happens when you die in the game. Plus, people who play the game are going missing. In order to figure out both, (and satisfy his fans,) Matthew Patrick decides to try the game for himself. A few hours later, he's missing; along with the rest of the Game Theory crew, leaving Stephanie to follow Matthew's breadcrumbs.... right into the game. (This is not an exact copy of what happened in escape the night there are some bonus chapters that I completely made up and Tera will replace Ro in most scenes because it would make sense but Ro is still a relevant character)
