I sense his hands move up to my blindfold and I quickly grab his wrists. "Don't...." I whisper. "You won't like what you see..." Dakini is a sixteen year old girl living in the town of Witherington; but her life is far from normal. Witherington is not your usual town - it's a town where the civilisation is made up of 99% werewolves; aside from Dakini and her mother. Or so the town and school believe. I frowned, thrown off "Do i...remember?" "Do you remember..." she starts but her voice falters. She glances down at the sand, biting her lip debating whether to even continue. She then takes a shaky breath and finally looks up. Eyes locking with mine " do you even remember how you got it?" Her question hits me like a slap. I open my mouth, then close it, my brows furrowing as I force my brain to rewind. How did I get it? Nothing. Not a single clear memory.
