Finally, in 1949, as Jasper and Alice are searching for their Cullens, Eloise is released from Volterra and she returns to her brother and joins the Cullens with him and Alice and all is well until Edward falls in love with fragile, human Bella Swan.
And, then Jasper almost kills Bella and Ellie and her family leave Forks without a trace.
When the Cullens return to Forks after Bella and Alice bring Edward back from Volterra, Eloise meets shapeshifter Paul Lahote who imprints on her. It's a long road to love for them, being that they're natural enemies, but Eloise and Paul start falling deeply for each other. And, when Victoria's newborn army threatens everything Eloise holds dear and reminds her of the darkness in her past, Eloise finds her light in Paul to pull her out of the pit of despair she's in.
