Dipper and Mabel pines have gotten out of their first year of high school, and are now almost 14 years old. For their birthday summer, they return to Gravity falls; But things aren't quite right with the Northwests, and trouble is brewing.
After a tragedy leaves Pacifica on her own in the wild, she'll need Dipper's help to survive. As the journey goes on, the two form an unexpected relationship that pushes boundaries and changes them both.
And, as a dark force begins to rise to power once more, their trust for each other might be the only thing that can save all of Gravity Falls.

It's Dipper and Mabel's third summer in Gravity Falls, but things don't go as smoothly as their second one. Weirdmaggedon has started all over again ; much worse than before. There are more hench-maniacs, more terror - more deaths. And when Dipper gets taken by Bill, will he finally get some answers? Like, how is Bill alive? Or, why is he creating another Weirdmaggedon? He has questions for himself. When should he go home? Should he try to stop Bill on his own? Why does he feel like he's... growing fond of the demon? After things get out of hand and someone gets hurt Dipper decides to get revenge on Pacifica. As Dipper's seed of hope for Pacifica to rise above her past begins to wither so does part of Dipper's heart. Ford has discovered a way to stabilize the portal temporarily. They must find the five relics dispersed through various dangerous dimensions and unite them with the portal. Just when all hope seems lost for Pacifica things take an unexpected turn of events. Even after everything that has happened Dipper finds the seed of hope is still breaking ground as it pushes up through the pain, regret, and sorrow. Slowly Dipper starts to rebuild the burned bridges finding his way back to the girl that just needed someone to believe in her.
