Even on Krypton, she was misunderstood. When she was younger and her mother asked about boys or boyfriends, Kara would always reply, "No, Mommy! I wanna have a girlfriend." Which was unheard of. Kara's feelings towards girls were punishable by death, much like some countries on Earth. So. when she was old enough to understand the risk of loving who she wanted, she suppressed her feelings and convinced herself that she loved boys. On Earth, years later, she meets someone who makes it impossible to ignore her feelings, but she has never made her feel as amazing as Lena Luthor. Lena Luthor was raised in a home where you could be beaten for simply looking at someone. She didn't bother with love or figuring out her feelings about all of her friends. It just wasn't important. When she moved away and her brother was put in jail, she assumed that she was attracted to men. She didn't know otherwise. But when she met Kara Danvers, every thought she ever had about being straight was proven wrong. This was what love felt like. Facing danger at every turn of their relationship, Lena and Kara are determined to beat the odds. A Kryptonian and a Luthor can do anything, despite their older family members' disappointment.
The Spider Of The Spider-Verse. A Spider-Man Story X Male Reader Insert X MCU by AnthonyDobbs1
43 parts Ongoing Mature
PLEASE READ. This story is the combination of two different Spider-Man stories I've had up in the past. If you've read them, you'll probably recognise some aspects of it. I hope you'll enjoy this story. In this story Y/N Queen was a normal boy living in Brooklyn, New York and one day his life was changed forever when he went on a field trip to Oscorp. He gets bitten by a radioactive spider and is granted spider-like powers. After seeing that the city needs help, he decides to use his powers to help the people of New York as the hero Spider-Man. Three months after becoming Spider-Man he gets roped into helping Steve Rogers and his team in the Avengers Civil War. During his time as Spider-Man, Y/N would deal with many challenges in both his personal life and his life as a hero. He'll deal with threats from his Earth and other Earth's throughout the Spider-Verse. These threats will show him what it truly takes to be Spider-Man, so will other Spider-People throughout the Spider-Verse. This story will go over the events of: Captain America Civil War. ✅️ Spider-Man: Green Goblin Strikes. ✅️ Spider-Man: The Spider Society. ✅️ Spider-Man: The Spectacular Spider-Man Returns. Avengers Infinity War. Avengers Endgame. Spider-Man: Hammerhead & The Maggia. Spider-Man: Venom Rises. Avengers: Crisis On Earth-X. Spider-Man 6. (TBD.) Spider-Man: Web Warriors. Avengers: Crisis On Infinite Earth's. Spider-Man: The Carnage Take-Over. So, I don't own any of the characters/storylines used in this story. All rights go to their respective owners.
The Weight of Grief by Kale_Kabbage
12 parts Complete Mature
It's almost funny. How grief sneaks up on you. One second, you're fine; you're coping well and then it hits you like a bullet, tearing right through your heart, almost killing you on the spot. Grief is a monster that lies dormant in the darkest quarters of your mind, growing stronger and stronger until you can't fight anymore. Until you can't breathe. Peter was fractured. The monster having grown too big, and without any support left to hold him up, the world of drugs dug its claws into him. And it was slowly killing him, like a sickly sweet poison that dulled the pain while quietly feeding on his soul. He was powerless to stop it. He was too tired to stop it. Tony was doing pretty good. Aside from having died, he was doing pretty good. Resurrected from the dead, check. Thanos dead, check. Wife and daughter thriving, check. He'd never expected to get his life back, that was for sure. He was thankful for the second chance. Unfortunately, Tony was quick to discover that the kid had all but lost his own life. It felt like a knife slowly twisting into his chest every time he saw the kid: in agony. Now Tony wasn't exactly the poster-child for a good emotional support figure, but he wasn't about to sit back and let this continue. No matter how hard the kid fought him, no matter how much resistance he was met with, Tony would help the kid. Still, he couldn't help the fear that laced his blood. Tony couldn't help but question whether he would be able to save Peter from the weight of grief. **NO Starker** Triggers Warnings: Substance Use/Abuse Depressive and/or Suicidal Thoughts/Mentions Rape Threats/Mentions Descriptive Blood/Minimal Gore Some Self-Harm Coarse Language Mental Illness (various) This is a heavier story, so please don't read if you're not comfortable with any of the above triggers.
