Alec Lighwood's world was in black and white. Until he met Magnus Bane, and suddenly everything that was black and white turned to color.
When Alec discovers the attraction between him and Magnus, he quickly tries to deny and ignore it. But they soon become stronger as time passes.
Magnus too learns that there is an attraction but unlike Alec, Magnus wants to embrace it. He tries to convince Alec to accept what he is feeling. But with Alec, that is easier said than done.
Alec seems to be fighting in a war of hearts and is unsure if he can win this fight.
