Abslon Moonshade is a Foster child for the aristocratic Moonshade family after he was adopted from a orphanage who treated him inhumanly.

As he feels trapped in beautiful solitude while being tortured by his own mind, he wishes to escape to the sky. And ask the stars for the reason he lives.

He gets his wish and more when he is dragged into a huge war between supernatural beings with the only thing standing between him and his inevitable demise is a covenant formed between him and a Phantasmal Spirit called The Asterisk Contact.

As he wields this almighty power, he searches for a reason behind his existence and proof of his humanity.

As he seeks the answer to a ever daunting question.

"What does it mean to be a Human?"
