She was silent.

"You're one of the only people who actually care about me. Even I didn't care about me. But you gave me worth--convinced me that I was more than a robot." I turned to face her, "You gave me a life to live, Minjee."

She shook her head, "You're mistaken, Hoseok. You were always alive. You just needed help to see that."

We shared a gaze filled with enough warmth to melt every inch of snow around us. There was no need for words. We had each other. That was enough. That was always enough...

An obediant and polite android that fulfills your every command, cooks any meal you could dream of, does all of those pesky chores, and is designed to look exactly like J-Hope from BTS! What more could you possibly ask for? But when things start going horribly wrong at home that put your family in harm's way, could this kind and considerate android just sit back and watch, or will he be forced to disobey?

This work is a fanfiction based on the 2018 adventure game Detroit: Become Human. Some characters and events are taken from the game.
