CAUTION: TRIGGER WARNING
*This book contains some scenes and graphic descriptions that may disturb some readers. I will put an asterisk line *** above paragraphs that have graphic details, and an asterisk line *** at the end. Suicide prevention is a main driver for the character, Blanche. It's a driving part of the storyline, and I actually disturbed myself writing the scenes and descriptions. You have been warned. I do not advise children under 16 to read this.*

Blanche has been moved around for her father's job all her life. But her parents said she can stay at her new school until she graduates. There, she meets a girl who warns her off of Vincent Hawke, a guy known for lashing out, seemingly with no reason, and being involved in his father's drug and gang business affairs. But wary of people who cast off other people because of the person's parents, Blanche ignores the warning, and decides to befriend the mysterious outsider. The friendship blossoms into something more, but Vincent has to make a choice; hurt Blanche by removing himself from her life, or put her life at risk by following his heart and being with her. This is just the beginning.

Growing up in a toxic environment, sixteen-year-old Jay Foster has always had psychological problems, coupled with a quick temper. But one night something happens which finally pushes him over the edge, and as a result, he leaves his house the next morning with two things: his mother's gun and a plan. Living with a neglectful and drug addicted mother wasn't easy for Jay, and it definitely didn't help that his father abandoned the family while he was still a child. He harbored a hatred toward his parents, and that hatred extended to almost everyone and everything around him, producing a very troubled and damaged young kid. As Jay enters high school, he becomes very intrigued with one of his classmates. Kind of obsessed, actually. Her name: Mikayla Keeler. Mikayla is very unique, and like Jay, she doesn't seem to fit in with her contemporaries. Instead, the two of them keep each other company, and their friendship very quickly escalates into a romantic and intimate relationship. Despite having Mikayla, Jay's troubles continue to burden him. He and Mikayla are fighting habitually, his home life is still unbearable, and his time at school is hardly any better, made worse by a bully named Calvin. Their mutual dislike of one another leads to a lot of hostility, routinely leading to Jay being sent to his school's principal. One confrontation in particular goes much too far, resulting in Jay's expulsion from school. With everything seemingly piling up, Jay is very close to his breaking point, and late one night he is blindsided by the unthinkable, pushing him much too far and effectively planting in his mind a cruel and horrific plan for revenge.

Amelia Marie Thompsons life went to shambles when her best friend left her ten years ago without a word. Left to live on her own, she built a comfortable life in solitude...or as comfortable as she wanted to believe it was. She struggled more than one person should deal with, but she's a fighter and not one to back down. Her twenty-seven years alive have been earned, and she will continue to fight every day for peace. But peace never comes easily. Damon Rossi never cared about anyone or anything until he met Amelia in their youth. He never thought he could care about someone outside of his family, nor did he ever allow himself to, but one fateful day brought them together. They were inseparable until another fateful day tore him away from her without a word for a decade. Now, fate has brought them back together again. When Amelia is hunted down by someone after Damon, she flees to her once best friend for aid and protection. There, she discovers the truth to everything. Why he left, why he came back, and why he's such a hard ass. It is now up to these two stubborn individuals to solve this scheme without budding heads, but when old feelings start to stir with the new ones, they begin to realize they won't be able to walk away from this easily. Danger lurks over them, but is their love more terrifying? That's pretty crazy... **TRIGGER WARNINGS** Contains brief mentions of parental abuse, alcoholism, stalking, suicide, and sexual assault. These are only sprinkled in throughout the book, and will not provide extreme details, but I will provide trigger warnings at the beginning of the chapter, as well as ** at the start and end of the triggering paragraph(s) to inform the reader of exactly when it is happening, for anyone who wants to skip for personal reasons. This book is a mafia book and will contain violence and murder during many chapters. Keep in mind that this is a fictional dark romance novel and is just a creative outlet.

How can they find their way when the love that draws them together is simultaneously seen as the greatest crime? ----- Excerpt: "Are you sure we're ready for this, I mean, that between us, you and me?" she asked softly as my gaze swept over the shimmering surface of the river. "What if someone finds out?" I gently placed my hand on her arm. "Sometimes you have to take a risk to find out what really matters," I said, my voice a whisper in the evening breeze. "I know it's complicated, but I can't ignore these feelings any longer. I want you to know how I feel-not just as a friend, but as something more." I felt my heart race. I could barely grasp the pain and joy in Hazel's eyes. The moment was so intense it felt as if it could stop time. ----- Trigger Warnings: Forbidden Love Family Conflicts Emotional Strain Loss of a Loved One Suicide Societal Pressure and Stigmatization Homophobia ----- English isn't my first language, therefore, there may be some spelling and grammatical mistakes
