An "origin story" headcanon of mine on one of many locations in the Mario-verse. 

Centuries before Princess Daisy's kingdom of Sarasaland came to be, its 4 main regions were once their own sovereign nations. Set in the mid-1300's, "Flora's Kingdom" takes place in the region of Easton, which, at the time, was overrun with clans battling each other in brutal territorial wars.

Flora, a peasant from Florence, Italy, is a girl born with power over plant life. When she arrives in Easton by falling through a hollow tree stump, she finds herself in the center of a ground-breaking prophecy, one that could potentially unify the land and bring about peace for the first time in decades.All Rights Reserved
