Hiya pals!
Nutmeg here! In honor of pride month, I decided that I should probably post something. Since there isn't much representation out there for asexuals, I figured I would share my story. The past several months have been filled with heartbreak, happiness, friendship, and self-discovery for me, and it feels so surreal. I've finally found a safe space among my friends and family, where I can truly be me.
All of the characters in this story will be based on real people I've actually met, but their names will be changed for safety purposes, as well as mine, and all the events that will take place are true as well. This story will be told from my point of view and will begin at the beginning of the school year to introduce all the characters.
One last side note. I'd like to think the Wattpad community wouldn't participate in discourse, but I'd like to put this in there anyway. This story is about a biromantic asexual finding her way in the world and coming to terms with her identity. Said biromantic asexual would greatly prefer if any discoursers would click off my story now, and leave no hate in their wake. This is not the place to start a fight over whether asexuals belong in the LGBTQ+ community. I personally identify as LGBTQ+ and would prefer to avoid all hate whatsoever.
Just keep the golden rule in mind, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
I hope you enjoy the story!
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
