Madara Uchiwa (うちはマダラ, Uchiha Madara) était un chef légendaire du  clan Uchiha . Il fonda le village caché de Konoha  avec son rival, Hashirama Senju , avec pour intention de commencer une nouvelle ère de paix. Lorsque ces derniers ne purent s'entendre sur la manière de parvenir à cette paix, ils se battirent pour le contrôle du village, un conflit qui se termina par la mort de Madara.
