Rae Jameson is a human.
At least she thinks she is.
However, her family knows different and her brother is sworn to protect her.
One afternoon, Rae and her brother, Shade, decide to go on a road trip with their friends to a secluded cabin in the woods where they won't be caught heavily partying.
The plan doesn't go as planned and the cabin is attacked by creatures of the night, mayhem is caused and many die.
1 year after the massacre Rae is 18 and lives alone whilst constantly trying to find her brother who went missing after the attack, she also studied the supernatural and keeps herself safe from many kinds of the supernatural.
She also takes it upon herself to become a hunter of vampires and has an arsenal of weapons.
Little does she know that the vampire who attacked her 1 year ago is hiring other forces of the supernatural to find and capture her before taking her to him.
Amongst this she also meets her mate, the Beta of a Werewolf Pack known as the Σκιά-αγκάθι πακέτο (Shadethorn pack). This adds more pressure as the severely overprotective Cole won't let her too far out of his sight.
Will Rae find her brother?
Will she escape the obsessive attempts of the ruthless vampire?
Will she learn to cooperate with Cole?
