All her life Louisa Ashford had to fight. She had to fight in childbirth to stay alive. She had to fight for the sanity of her psychotic mother; and she had to fight for the privileged life that she and her brothers now have. Some may say she was a born fighter, but what if there was more to it? What if she was the greatest creation ever to exist? 

 When two men suddenly come into her life and tell her of her heritage, everything spirals out of control. Mythical creatures want her dead, a mysterious king wants to turn her into his bride, and her brother wants to now kill her. Plunged into the world of mythology she faces the biggest fight of her life, and on top of that she's starting to develop feeling for not one but two guys.

Fate is hatching a plan for Louisa, she will lead her to where it all began and where it will all end- The Ruins of Pompeii.
