What if you were transported to a world that you thought only exists in a book?

What if you bore the knowledge of Middle-Earth's future?

Would it be a gift, or a curse?

Maya only walked in Harwood Forest for the scenery and peace while she reads a book, but after a horrible thunder storm, she walks out and finds herself in a different world, a mistaken home. She is taken in by a short man with large and hairy feet. And what is unexpected to him is expected from her. When they join Thorin Oakensheild and his band of dwarfs on their journey she finds danger, courage, and perhaps... love?

"You talk too much elf-boy," Arya muttered, her voice hoarse from all the screaming she had done due to the pain of her injuries. Legolas scrunched up his nose in disdain of the nickname, but a smile soon found his way onto his face. "I am not a boy." Her eyes opened then, and her familiar hazel eyes met his striking blue ones. A small smile made itself present on her face as she looked at him, a twinkle of mischief evident in her eyes. "No. You are not." ¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨ Arya woke up some years ago with a grey-haired wizard leaning over her. She had no memories, no indications that told her who or what she was. With the outer appearances of an elf, but eyes that flash orange and strange symbols that appear on her skin - no one seems able to tell her anything about her past. She joined the quest of Thorin's dwarven company to have something to do, and she quickly became a part of their group. After a long and arduous journey but still a far away from the mountain they stumble into trouble.
