When Benjamin Rhine is reincarnated in another world, he thinks it's just another video game. Everything reminds him of the VRRPGs he had played over the years, from the HP bars to the monsters roaming the world.
Unfortunately, nothing is simple. Ben quickly finds himself in one of the biggest messes in the world he's in, along with several other idiots who know to do nothing: A girl who knows nothing about video games, a mage who can only make things explode. The most (and only) competent member of their group is a soldier from the militia. In order to prevent the complete destruction of their new world, they must defeat a being known as the Demon Lord.
He quickly finds out that this so-called video game is a game, sure-but one of survival. Because here, death is permanent.
