An African-American Boy by the name of Malik Stewart in the United States, under goes a major course of events that nearly ruins his life. After a deadly gang rival war in his neighborhood located on Long Island, New York, his father is killed which leaves behind his mom and himself devastated. His mom decides that she wants to live a better life somewhere else out of The USA to escape the tragedies that exist there. They both move to Tokyo, Japan but not in a safe environment like they think they did. Malik's new name in Japan is Tokah Kuzimoro after a drastic name change from both him and his mother. Along the way Tokah will attend high school for the first time after finishing elementary and middle school in Japan. He will meet new friends and associates that will have each other's back through no matter what, even if it means gang violence involved.
