Ella Marie Chase was bullied her whole life. Elementary school, middle school, and high school. Every year she made friends and every year they would end up abandon her when she needed them most. Her parents abandoned her at the age of 10. They left and never came back, but at least they would send her money every month. Finally she is in college and she made a promise to herself, "Do not to socialize." This is because she doesn't want to be hurt again and have to constantly ask herself, "Why am I always left alone?" When times got rough, her first resort was to cut herself. What happens when Miss Quiet meets Mr. Mysterious?

Blake Aiden Justin kept to himself ever since his parents perished in a fire. And yes, perish as in no bones, burned bodies, and nothing left. Luckily his sister was out of town, so she's the only family he has. He always wore dark clothing and had shut everybody out. So what happens when an innocent quiet girl accidentally bumps into him, stares, and just walks in the other direction without a word? This makes Mr. Mysterious get intrigued and not leave her alone, no matter how much she ignores him.
