Unusual Guardian

[Completed] Cynthia Dahl grew up in an abusive home. Her father is a background figure, her mother an iron fisted woman. She's learned how to avoid her parent's eye by being "invisible" a trait she uses to navigate through school.

One day she finds a trinket at the beach that like a hermit crab, is much more on the inside. It contains a dark spirit, named Altair and he's willing to protect Cynthia from ANYTHING. Will Cynthia use this guardian as a means for her freedom? Or will she let her fears dominate her life?
