"Do you know how I realized that my mate was close?" he asked while taking a step closer.
I didn't reply, I just continued looking to the ground not wanting to meet his gaze.
"I smelt the most enticing scent, one of roses and I finally understand why that is the most suiting scent for you" he said still coming slowly towards me his eyes never leaving my face.
I looked at him confused waiting for an explanayion.
"Like a rose has it's thorns it's difficult for someone to get close to you but when you get past all these thorns there is beauty and you know that your efforts were worth it" he said while looking at me softly.
"I will get past those thorns of yours someday as much as you keep trying to push me away"
