Clark Elizabeth Ailen once was a young cheerful girl before it all went down. After being kidnapped on her 8th birthday and forced to live in a facility for 10 years changed her view of the world and everyone around her. She fought everyday wanting revenge and holding on to the thought that her family would still be alive. She gains the help of 4 strangers with similar goals as they experience love, loss, unexpected friendship, adventure, and many more all while trying to figure out the mess they were dragged into. 

This story is set in the near future where children are hunted down and unknowingly taken from her family for reasons yet to be uncovered. Times are changing and certain people have developed a mutated gene that is unknown and possibly dangerous to the rest of man kind. The  dilemma was put in the hands of the government and their solution was ,and still is , to kill everyone over the age of 20. As for the people under the age of 20, nobody really knows what happens to them after they've been taken except for the people behind all of.
