Jack remembers a few things from his life. He remembers the slums, of course, but sometimes he also remembers what he tried so desperately to forget. His one true love, (y/n). He remembers his precious crush so he can be reminded of why he needs to help destroy all of vampire kind.
Just like how they took his (y/n) away.

(I'm not gonna lie this story came about because I wanted to give Jack a deeper story that just he lost his eye and his mind with it. "Why did he become Jack the Ripper?" "WHEN did he become Jack the Ripper?" I also wanted to come up with a way to understand why he favored humans when vampires could be just as bad and thus, this story was born!)
