Both/And thinking - the ability to hold two seemingly contradictory ideas or feelings at once. The opposite of either/or, both/and embraces complexity and messiness. With Asgard destroyed, Loki isn't sure how he should feel - on one hand, Asgard as a symbol of lies is gone, but on the other hand...Asgard was home. But regardless of his tangled emotions, there is a current through time that is marching toward Infinity Stones that will bring Loki back to face Thanos. He'd always anticipated this, but it's far more complicated now that he is responsible for the survival of all that is left of his people and has realized that, regardless of his anger, his hurt, and his desire to see Asgard burn, his heart still seeks both home and family. Infinity War AU Author's note - we're altering the timeline of the MCU a little for this - the notes I've seen have indicated Ragnarok took place around 2017 or 2018 and we're going with 2017 because of how this story needs to dovetail into the present day. Infinity War takes place in 2018. I don't want to give more spoilers than this on how this timeline is going to work, but this story will lead into New Asgard facing the covid-19 pandemic.Complete
